Hunting season is here.  Remember to make sure your deer stands are safe for climbing. Hopefully by now, you have your winter wheat or rye grass planted. Don’t over clear your shooting lanes. Clear just enough to achieve your purpose.  Wildlife like cover.  They aren’t as afraid to cross areas with plenty of cover.  This allows you a little more opportunity to see game before dark and later into the morning.  Manage your land year-round for wildlife.  Winter clover is a good choice for deer.  Chufa tubulars are excellent for turkey in the Spring. Think ahead. You will be glad you did!
